Students, parents, teachers and those who want a better understanding of how water delivery in the desert works – this is a great place for you to dive into the world of water!
Water Counts Academy (virtual)
Water Counts Academy 2023 kicks off in February. The Academy is designed for people who want a better understanding of water delivery in the desert and issues facing our area.
With California in a drought, learning about water is as important as ever.
This is the seventh year for the academy, developed by CV Water Counts (CVWaterCounts.com), a collaborative of the valley’s six water agencies including Desert Water Agency.
The virtual academy consists of five weekday Zoom sessions, from noon to 1:30 p.m., tentatively scheduled for the following Thursdays: February 9, 16, 23, March 3 & 9.
The sessions cover a variety of topics from water quality and supply to conservation and water efficient industries.
Visit CVWaterCounts.com/Academy to apply for the February 2023 class. There is no tuition/fee.
