This current fiscal year, ending June 30, 2021, the Desert Water Agency Board has committed:
- $1,031,000 to customer incentives to replace grass with water wise landscape (click to apply)
- $175,000 to customer incentives for water-saving devices (click to apply)
- One staff member that works exclusively on water conservation with support from several others ( send e-mail to the Conservation team here)
- Providing large properties with water consults ( send e-mail to the Conservation team here)
Our team is also soliciting grants to reduce the impacts of these programs on water rates. As of spring 2022, DWA has received more than $3.9 million in grant awards or outside funding for water conservation programs.
