On October 27, the City of Palm Springs voted unanimously to provide residents with grass removal funding through Desert Water Agency's existing program.
The City committed $250,000 for this purpose with $50,000 set aside for a low-income projects. The City expressed a goal of launching the program December 1 and will have a cap of $5,000 in support per project.
DWA is working with the City to coordinate the details and will update this page and its program application accordingly.
